YouTube Channel Subscribe | DJ Mixes Makes It All Better
I am focusing more now on my YouTube channel to share my mixes.
MOYIE G is channel to look out for, and I have uploaded a lot of my mixes there already, including some of my old mixes that are not uploaded to my Mixcloud.
Please check it out and enjoy listening and don't forget to show some love and click the SUBSCRIBE button.
Mixes will be uploaded every week, and I will be uploading also a mix series. This mix series will be short mixes roughly 10-15mins. with 5 tracks only. Each episode has a specific genre, but mostly I will do open formats.
E-Digging For Tracks For DJ Use
E-Digging
- short for electronic digging, is finding music or samples online
- mostly popular amongst the music production community
As for me, I e-dig for music tracks only, not samples, as I'm not producing or making my own tracks yet, but maybe in the near future.
YouTube is my main go to site to find music , and sometimes SoundCloud.
Of course there are lots of DJ record pools out there , but for me, it's more fun to find tracks using Google and other websites. Being resourceful comes in handy when you're e-digging.
Other websites I use to find music online:
Discogs- to find additional information about the track/song, the year it was released, and other relevant information.
Beatport- find new releases especially if you want to look for electronic music
(House, Progressive, Tech House etc.)
BurningTheGround.net- 12"inch remixes from the 80's and 90's.
DJ Times- subscribing to their newsletter gives you access to free downloads of new track releases with several remixes or versions
I will update this list whenever I find other sites that can be helpful for e-digging.

Movie Picks (July-September 2019)
Watching movies is one of my favored pastime.
My work is just 4-6 hours per day and I work home-based, so this means I have the luxury of carrying out my hobbies.
For the last 3 months I have downloaded and watched a lot of movies and TV series. I post it in this blog for my personal use, these are my picks.
I don't know I just find it satisfying--to share the movies I appreciate, maybe you'll appreciate it too.
This is not a review, but--all of the movies I post here, in my own opinion are remarkable, notable and all other positive description you can add for a movie.
Maybe its my way of thanking the producers, the filmmakers, the actors, for doing such a great job or I should say a great work of art.

Straight Outta The 90's (HipHop)
Hip-hop's greatest records bring forth in the mid-90's.

Seona Dancing - More To Lose - Ricky Gervais
If you are a Ricky Gervais fan and likes New Wave music and was a teenager from the Philippines in the 80's, then this is a cool trivia for you here.
Right..Ricky Gervais a well known comedian, one of the best, one of my favorites was once in a band.
Can't believe why their single "More To Lose" which is actually a good track was only a hit in the Philippines, and not in other parts of the world.
